Paging File Error

Whenever I start up my computer Windows 2000 Pro, Before
it loads any of the icons or task/start bar. It comes up
saying my Paging File is too small and to go in and change
it...It tells me how to, and when I go in there it is set
to 20mb when it used to be 300mb. I change the settings
and restart my computer as it says, and it still comes up
saying I have the Paging Error whenever I start up my
computer...Please Help!!!
