Yes, I know the article but never really *thought* that anyone would really do this.

It seems like something so complex when going through the Control Panel was much easier. Ok, CP just updates the Registry....
In fact, there are a few other articles about pagefiles and memory dumps which I found which were even new to me.
One has the maximum dump file being 2GB, ever. And another says that even if you move the dump file to another partition or disk, it will still be "created" on the first partition (normally C

and *then* copied over the final destination.
Pagefiles are such simple things, yet MS has made their use and management seem like some sort of "magic bullet". Remember when the "optimum" setting was 11 + memory. Oh, gosh... those were the days.
