[max headroom]

What is the max size for pagefile in win2k? I do video
editing and at recommended size I get msg from editing
program that it is running out of memory. Can you make
win2k control pagefile automatically? I have 1GB ram and
have set pagefile to 1534 initial and 4092 max size. Can it
be made larger to accommodate the editing program. I use MyDVD.

To determine the size of the pagefile multiply the amount of physical RAM
by 1.5 to a maximum of 4095MB. For further information, I would recommend

Each pagefile can only be up to 4 GB in size, but
you can have one on every partition.

And having multiple huge page files might not solve your
problems because not everything can always use virtual memory
as a substitute for RAM - sometimes you simply need more RAM.
1 GB is not much RAM for a system that does a lot of video
editting.
