Page numbering using Sections

I am using Word 2002 and cannot figure out how to change the footer
information within each section. Your help would be greatly appriciated.

I have setup a footer that contains; on the left side document information
and on the right 'Page x'.

Section 1, need to keep in left side documentation as is but remove the page
numbering.
Section 2, need to keep in left side documentation and the sequential
numbering beginning with 'Page 1'. This is working okay
Section 3, need to keep in left side documentation and change the numerical
page numbering to roman numerial... I, II, III...

I've tried doing this from Insert Page Numbers but it does not give me the
results I need.

Please respond if this is possible.

that, while you can restart numbering or change the number format without
unlinking the footers, you will need to unlink them if you need to change
any other content.
