Page distorted

Since sending my previous question I have noticed that the page image on my
screen is distorted. The right edge of the page extends beyond the 8.5 inch
mark on the ruler and the page proportions are obviously not correct. I
selected letter size paper. The fact that the printed page comes out with
the text shrunk to the left indicates that the problem is more than a
distorted image on the screen.

I found a comment, deleted it, and my document is back to normal. Thanks
very much for your help.
