Page counter error from Unix/Linux to Windows 2000 queue

I'm trying to print from Unix/Linux to a Windows 2000
server. All it's ok BUT windows doesn't know jobs size
(I need to know for each job the number of pages, I've
a daemon that use winspool API and search for this when
a job comes).
I try with a Raw and LPR policy, but doesn't work anyway.
Any idea?

Your only options are to parse the print file to calculate the number of
pages, or maybe calculate a value from the file size and an average size per
page.
