pack to CD trouble

Powerpoint 2003 - all the latest patches etc.

Whenever I try to Pack to CD I get the "insert a re-writable CD" and try
again - these are clean RW CD's - I have a DVD Re-writer installed which
works fine cutting ordinary CD's - any ideas
 
Use the Package to CD option, and select copy to folder, then using your CD
burning software, copy the files to your CD
 
Choose to copy to folder in the Package dialog. Then use your CD burning
software to burn the contents of the folder (not the folder itself -- you
just want all the files "loose" on the CD) to the CD.
