Why won't my 'Package for CD' work ?

Help! I have Office 2003 installed on my computer together with Windows XP.
Using Windows Explorer I have successfully burnt a PowerPoint presentation
onto a CD-RW disc. However, when I try to burn the same presentation onto a
disc using 'Package for CD' , I constantly receive the message 'The files
cannot be copied because the CD is not writable' (!). As the CD clearly is
writable I am at a complete loss. Ideas anyone?

PowerPoint isn't very smart when it comes to burning CDs. You should use
Package for CD to package the presentation to a folder. Then use your
regular CD-burning software to burn the contents of that folder to a CD.
