Owner has e-mail message

I am running XP. After the screen saver has powered off
the monitor you get the log in screen. We have two users
on our home computer so you have two log in options, the
Owner and my son who set up a different account. Under
the Owner there are things like "the owner has got 2 new
e-mail messages. Click on the start menu and open up E-
mail". Well I am the owner and I use Outlook for all e-
mail corrospondence and if I click on the start I have no
e-mail program listed. I use an internet service
provided e-mail account that is not an MSN type account.
However I had a foreign exchange student living with me
that may have established his e-mail address as the
owners. How do I check to see whose e-mail messages
these are and how do I change this???
