E/Mail Links

When clicking on a link contained in a e/mail instead of transferring me to
the required website I just get a page headed Owner,which shows six items :-
Desktop,My Documents,Windows,Favourites,Start Menu and ntuser [Dat File].
I have tried System restore to an earlier date however problem remains.
