Outlopok 2000 Blocking Junk Mail?

J

John Gregory

Over the past few days, I've begun receiving a pop up when I review blogged
mail in Outlook asking me if I want Outlook to block junk mail. I always "X"
out because I'm not sure that message is coming from MS. The program has
been in use by me (heavily) probably since 2000 and I've never seen this
message.

Is this legit and should I answer "yes" next time?

Outlook 200 does not have a Junk mail filter. I would say that it is most likely not legit.

did you recently install antivirus or firewall software? Most new AV
software offer mail scanning.

when you say blogged mail, do you mean you are pulling rss feeds in? the
popup may be associated with messages pulled from one of the feeds...
