Outlook XP POP3 Connection - Post Vista RC1 upgrade

After installing Vista RC1 upgrade, from XP, Outlook XP has only once
properly connected to my incoming pop3 server. Testing the email accounts
setting show that incoming server is the only one it has problems with.

I have noticed that the password for the email account gets erased/lost with
each reboot.

Thoughts/Suggestions?
 
I have Outlook 2002 and I have the same issue. I click the check box to save
password in the password list. Each time I check mail, I have to enter the
password. Maybe it's security. Oh, my build is a clean install.
