Just completed UPGRADE of Vista Ultimate 64-bit RC1 5728 to RC2 5744 on my
two year old Compaq R3200Z (DP533AV) laptop with no errors reported or
immediately evident.

Begin upgrade to final reboot and presentation of RC2 5744 sign-on screen =
1 hour, 56 minutes.

Activation is complete and I used the same product key as for both Betas and
RC1 5600 and RC1 5728.

Did this too. I was prepared to do clean install, but decided to try
upgrade in case it worked.

1 hour 45 minutes.

Even though this is not supported option, everything went without a
glitch and everything is working as far as I know.

Ok. My upgrade appeared to go ok but I want to "be certain" that I am
getting the true RC2 experience so I guess I'll do a clean install later
today.

By not supported, it means if you upgraded from 5728 to 5744 do not send in
any bug reports. This is not something the Vista Beta Team is interested in.
