Outlook will not close

UnTruth

Just hangs every time I close it. I then have to go to application
recovery and kill it. Windows XP SP 2, Mcafee 7

details
Hanging application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937,
hanging module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, stamp 411096b4,
debug? 0, hang address 0x0001eb33.

any ideas?
 
When this happens at shutdown, it is usually caused by an addin. In this
case I would suspect McAfee since many vendors try to protect e-mail. (Can
you temporarily uninstall/reinstall McAfee w/out e-mail protection? You can
also try going to Tools | Option | Other tab | Advanced Options | Addin
Manager or COM Addins and see if there are any addins installed.)
