MSVCRT.DLL error messages

For the past few months, I have been getting the following error message
almost once a day (though seems to occur most often at night when not using
my computer)
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937,
faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.2600.2180, stamp 41109752, debug? 0,
fault address 0x00037efb.

This one also appears in my event viewer:
Bucket 132369324, bucket table 1, faulting application outlook.exe, version
11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version
7.0.2600.2180, stamp 41109752, debug? 0, fault address 0x00037efb.

Any ideas?

Do you have more than one version of the DLL on your PC?

Yes - I searched for it and it was appearing in the following folders:
c:\
c:\windows\system32
c:\windows\system32\dllcache

Are they the same? Right-click and choose Properties.

msvcrt.dll error

I am experiencing the following error:

Type: Information
Event: 1001
Source: Microsoft Office 11
Category: None
Event Description: Bucket 519469822, bucket table 1, faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8169.0, stamp 465f28e3, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.2600.2180, stamp 41109752, debug? 0, fault address 0x000367ef.

This is happening when I am running Outlook 2003. Outlook opens fine, synchronizes for a few minutes, then shuts down and restarts.

In reading this thread, I searched for and found 10 instances of msvcrt.dll. My question is, which instance may be causing my problem?

Paul-
