I have an existing computer with MS Outlook.

I have a new computer without Outlook.

So, I am wanting to copy folder structure and emails on to a CD from the
first computer.

And import them into Windows Mail on the new computer.

Can this be done and if so what files do I copy and where do I put them.

To transfer the OL data to WinMail, you'd need to have OL installed on the
Vista machine and using the data (PST file). You could then import the OL
data into WinMail. (Do not export the data from OL to WinMail!)

If OL's running on a WinXP machine, you could import the data into Outlook
Express (OE) and then migrate the data to WinMail.

OL/WinXP => OE/WinXP => WinMail? Yes.

OL/WinXP => OL/Vista => WinMail? Yes.

OL/WinXP => WinMail? No.
