Outlook stops responding

Now and then outlook stops responding for a number of
people in the office and then comes back in about a minute
or so. Does anybody know what is causing this? Could
this be large attachments being sent out by one particular
person?

I would assume that you are on an exchange server. it sounds like to me
that the server goes busy for a minute. Talk to the administrator to see if
they can access the server logs for a better idea
