Hi.
I hope someone has an answer for this one.
Outlook some times stops responding when trying to send
and receive. Other times it stops responding when trying
to open mail with an attachment.
I've tried rebooting and then bringing outlook up on save
mode. Same result.
The problem is so annoying, I've started using outlook
express. Every so often I go back to outlook and things
seem to work for a while ( a few days). Then, suddenly,
it stops respoding again. When it does, you can restart
the computer n times and bring up outlook (save mode or
otherwise) again at no avail. But every so often, it
works just fine for a few days. It is totally
unpredictable.
I'm using ms-office 2003 with the Jul-2004 service patch
on windows XP factory installed on a Dell dimension
8300. I access the web via a Linksys Broadband router.
Outlook express works perfectly all the time even while
outlook has stoped responding on the background.
Can any one suggest how to troubleshoot this one?
