outlook stops responding

I'm using Outlook 2002 (part of Office XP Standard)
package. I also upgraded recently from Windows ME to
Windows XP. Now, frequently my Outlook stops responding;
especially when I select a message that has an attached
file. I'm using Norton Virus Scan if that has anything
to do with it. I'm not using WinFax Pro 10. Does anyone
know what is causing this problem? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Ted,
Are you connected to an Exchange Server? I to recently
switched from 2000 to XP Pro and have noticed a huge slow
down in even previewing an email that has a large
attatchment with an Exchange Server. I am using Outlook
2000 so it maybe the XP environment and not Outlook. Has
anyone else seen a slow down with Outlook on XP connecting
to an Exchange Server? If so what have you done to work
around this?
