Ever since I imported my .pst file from another vista 64 ultimate pc it does
not run at all.
I doubleclick Outlook (from office enterprise- not win mail or express) and
nothing happens...windows mail works still (vista 64 ult.) and I've tried
creating new profiles, deleting the old one,...tried deleting the data files
but it wont let me even though i am logged on as admin and have manually
taken ownership...i cannot uninstall either as I get an error about something
missing.

any suggestions?

You're likely to get faster answers for problems with Outlook if you ask in
a newsgroup meant for Outlook, such as:

microsoft.public.outlook.general
microsoft.public.outlook

Mention which version of Outlook you have and that you are running
it under Vista, in case it matters.

Never import an Outlook .PST file. Doing so usually corrupts the Outlook
profile in use and loses a good deal of data from the .PST. In the future,
close Outlook on the source machine, make a copy of the .PST file, place the
copy on the destination machine in a folder where it will not overwrite any
existing .PSTfibs, then open the file using 'File|Open|Outlook Data File'.
