Outlook shuts down for no good reason

Outlook shuts down when I hit Ctrl/Left Click, when I hit certain letters, etc.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

There should be some information (error code) in the Event Viewer
(eventvwr.msc) at the time when it happens.

Thank you, Pat.

My error message referenced a .cvr file in the Temp folder. I don't seem to
have any .cvr files in that folder, and I don't see any file of any type with
the initial numbers in the file name.

I appreciate your continued help.

Hi Pat,

This is the message that I got:

"Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.5510.0, stamp 3f1380f0,
faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.3119, stamp 46239bd5, debug?
0, fault address 0x00012a5b."

Also, how can I cut and copy a message from the Event Viewer?

Thank you very much.

It was the add-in from TimeMatters, which is mainly used by attorneys. I
couldn't remove the add-in from Outlook itself, but TimeMatters tech support
was able to walk me through it. We were able to reinstall it and now I have
no problems.
