If I have a meeting that recurs five, six, seven, etc. times but it's not on
a given day (for instance every other Monday) do I really have to send a new
meeting request for the same meeting for each day?

Yes, if you have a non-standard recurring meeting, you will need to send
each one as Outlook does not natively support non-regular recurring
appointments.

You can try 2 methods. First method is to create the appointment, then
right click and drag to the next recurrence in the Date Navigator (elect to
copy, not move) and then update the attendees.

The other method is to use WS Repeat Appointment
(http://www.websetters.co.uk/WSAddIns/Repeat Appointment/ to create your
recurrence pattern and then send the items to the attendees.

Does Microsoft see this request enough that they're ever going to do
something about it?
