Outlook sends multiple messages

Outlook 2007 - Vista
Even though I am only sending one message, it always says sending 4 of
4, unless I send five, then it said sending 5 of 8!!
No rules to forward to anybody else
It has been doing this since I got it set up, new computer etc.

But the messages are not received multiple times by the ones you are sending
to?
Are there any send/receive errors?

There is a bug in Outlook that affects the sending message count for some
users when they have multiple email accounts configured in Outlook. Most
often it is off by 1 for every email account that is configured in Outlook.
In other words; do you perhaps have 3 mail accounts configured in Outlook?

Just to be sure, check if you don't have a stuck read receipt.

Robert,
You hit the nail on the head! It must be the bug.
There are no multiple messages received.
There are no send/receive errors.
I ran the program and there are no stuck read receipts...
I DO have multiple (3) accounts set up.
Thanks for your help!!
I guess I just wait for Microsoft to fix the bug!
