From day one of using Outlook 2007 SP2 (brand new istallation on a brand new
computer), whenever I send a message it adds 3 onto 'sending message x of y'
.. eg if I send one message it says sending message 4 of 4. Any ideas?

Hi Ben

Thanks. The outbox is empty. I don't think there's anything wrong with the
..pst because if I copy it onto another pc with outlook 2007 I don't get the
problem.

How many email accounts do you have configured? Outlook has a problem
counting. See http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2008/20080618.htm - I
thought SP2 fixed it though.

It also could be read receipts - see
