outlook send error

I get this trying to send out of outlook:

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was
rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was
'(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'test', Account: 'mail.wildblue.net
(1)', Server: 'mail.wildblue.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response:
'554 <67-54-144-58.cust.wildblue.net[67.54.144.58]>: Client host
rejected: Access denied', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554,
Error Number: 0x800CCC79

have you set up smtp authentication?

Within Outlook Express, I guess outlook is similar, you have to tick
Outgoing Mail Server
My outgoing server requires authentication

typically you then choose "Use the same as my incoming server"

However some ISP block external access to their SMTP servers unless you're
connect to the web via their system.
