Hi

This is my first time here in PCreview

I would like to ask how to solve this error message:

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'testing only', Account: 'mail.bposerve.com', Server: 'mail.bposerve.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554 Relay rejected for policy reasons.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

Im using windows xp, outlook express 6

Your advise will be of great help.

thanks
neil

Hi Neil, welcome to the site :)

Are you trying to send e-mail from a non bposerve.com e-mail address? The server is rejecting e-mail relaying, which is when you send through an SMTP server that isn't related to the sending address.

Yes. I'm trying to send email to a yahoo account (e.g. (e-mail address removed)).

Where will I adjust changes?in the mail.bposerve.com mail server or in my outlook express account?
