Outlook rules

I have set up a rule, but it looks like not running. The rule should move a
mail to a specified folder, but it doesn't. Do you have any ideas why? If I
run it manually (run rules now) it works.

You may need to post more details of what the rule is intended to do and
what other rules are you running in the list. As a general point though,
try editing the rule and when you get to the actions to perform section,
try selecting the box "stop processing rules". Often times that one action
will make a rule start to behave as intended.

On my installation the rules don't run automatically
until I send an email. Before I installed the most
recent Service Pack they ran when I received mail, which
is much preferable.

I've been searching for a way to get the rules to run
automatically on receive as they used to, but I haven't
found anything so far.
