Outlook & Outlook Express Issue

After setting up my PDA email, my computer email started defaulting to
Outlook Express instead of Outlook even though Outlook is set as the
preference in Internet Explorer. I can send email from Outlook but not
receive. Any suggestions?

Not sure I understand you yet, but the mail is drawn down by an app if it has
the setting to do that. Outlook could be set to 'include this account' in
almost any number of email accounts.

Likewise Outlook Express has this setting. Tools menu, Accounts, (highlight
mail account) Properties button, General tab, see checkbox to "include this
account when checking email or synchronizing"

If you have the same email accounts configured in both OE & OL, if you open
OE it will receive your mail.
But perhaps you mean when I select, from another app, send a mail OE starts?

Perhaps whatever version of OL you are using has a test accounts option and
this may give an error msg?
