Outlook opens at startup

I am using Windows XPP with Microsoft Office XPP. I
recently decided to use Microsoft Outlook for my e-mail
instead of Outlook Express. Now, as soon as my
laptop starts up; Microsoft Outlook opens up to my inbox.
I can close it, but it is annoying and I can't figure out
what to do to stop it. I have tried unchecking Microsoft
Office under the "startup" tab in msconfig, and removing
Microsoft Office from the "startup" folder but Outlook
still opens when I reboot. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

I know that. But there is nothing at all to do with
Outlook in either startup location.

I'm having the same problem, after installing SP2.
Nothing in the startup folder and no relevant registry
entry that I can see either.

If you knew it might have been helpfull to have mentioned it as it is you
only mentioned 'Office'

This makes at least 3 of us. I installed SP2 on XP Pro and XP Media with no
problem - it's XP Home I'm having the problem with.

Like others, I've searched the registry, msconfig, and the various program
startup folders without finding any reference to outlook.

Thanks in advance for any help!
