Outlook only recieves messages after clicking??

My outlook will only recieve messages if I click on an
existing message in my inbox. I'm using a laptop
connected to my corp. exchange server. Its the strangest
thing..I can have 10 messages but if I dont click in
outlook they will not appear? The IT wizards at my work
dont have a clue and it drives me crazy. I never know if
I have email unless I phsicaly change programs and
click. Hopefully someone has a suggestion..Thanks!

This sounds like what can happen when UDP packets don't make it into the PC.
Search the knowledgebase at support.microsoft.com for the search string UDP
and you'll get several articles suggesting fixes.
