Outlook Newsreader

Sorry for posting my last message twice. The first time I
posted it through the outlook newsreader but the messages
that I am posting thru newsreader are not showing up in
my outlook newsreader when I download new threads. I see
everyone elses messages but not mine. When I view posts
from the microsoft site I see my message but its not in
the newsreader. Could anyone tell me how I can get my
post to show up on outlook newsreader?

You may have to reset the newsgroup in question -- right click the newsgroup
in the Folder List, select Properties, then the Local File tab, and click
the Reset button (read the text next to that button first so you know what
will happen). Then redownload the headers and you should see your messages
in the list.

BTW, just so you know, the Outlook Newsreader is actually Outlook Express in
a "news only" mode (i.e. no mail functions are enabled)...so, although we
may sometimes be able to answer newsreader-related questions in this group,
you may get faster and more accurate answers in an Outlook Express group in
the future. If your news server doesn't carry all the Microsoft public
newsgroups, add the free msnews.microsoft.com server to the newsreader and
look for the OE groups there.
