outlook 2002 & newsreader

In Outlook 2002, I use the newsreader function from the View/Goto menu. I
assume this is actually running Outlook Express. When I try to reply
directly to a news post, my system tries to start Outlook Express and just
seems to hang. I have to shoot that process. How do I configure this
newsreader to use Outlook 2002 to reply to posts?

Reply to User or Reply to Group?

When to user make sure Outlook is set as your default e-mail handler in
Control Panel-> Internet Options-> tab Programs

I'm talking about the Reply to User option. My default email client is
Outlook as is my newsreader. Any other suggestions?
