Hello, I am having some trouble with my outlook express. From time to
time when I try to open attachments I get a pps.disabled notice. I
would like to know how to enable . Does it have something to do with
the viewer? Any help would great. Thanks in advance for your positive
input.

save the pps to a hard drive then open it don't try from outlook as an
attachment

Power Point Slide Show reader software is required.

most PPS are sent with a viewer however in some cases the viewer won't
execute from an attachment.
MS office suites come with it(not free), a free viewer is out there too,
google baby google

Where would I find such a piece of software? For free if possible

Microsoft has Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio viewers for free.

Open office has a ppt viewer and is free

It's not just a viewer -- it's a compatible PowerPoint create/edit
application! The other apps in Open Office are also compatible with MS
Office Apps (read and write). There are some limitations, but well within
the needs of most non-power users.

www.openoffice.org Version 2.1 is current.
