When I open a new message I cannot get the window to stay
at a larger size when I open the next message. I also
cannot find the option that will let me go back to my
inbox after I click delete on message that I have read.
When I have read the message and click delete it
automatically opens the next message. I do not want it to
do that. I have turned off the view pane. Is there
something I am missing?

Using your cursor, drag the window size to full screen and then click on
File, then Close. The next msg you open should open at that full screen
size. This method also works for IE and Windows Explorer. Don't have any
suggestions on going back to your inbox after deleting an email other than
to open the last email first, when it's deleted you should return to your
inbox.
