Outlook Express

My friend has asked me if I can retrieve his Emails. He has given me a CD
with the following files on it:

Inbox.dbx
Drafts.dbx
Deleted Itens.dbx
Sent itens.dbx
pop2uidl.dbx
Outbox.dbx
Offline.dbx
Folders,dbx
cleanup.log

A esearch for .dbx extensions suggested they were from Outlook Express.

How do I import these messages into Outlook?

You cannot do that. The cd he gave you is useless. Have him get his own
email. To access his email you have to set up an acct with his server
settings and password. You'll mess up your own settings if you try.

Copy them to your hard drive in one folder, remove the Read-Only attribute
and import them into your Outlook Express (see http://www.insideoe.com/ for
details), then export the messages from Outlook Express into Outlook.
