Outlook Express works fine but Outlooks get error messages, why?

I can receive email from my pop server just fine. I cannot send emails to
anyone or return receipt requests. It appears to me that all works fine
until its time to send a message.

I used the same pop settings in Outlook express and everything works fine.
I would prefer to use the features in Outlook that are not available in
Express.

Turn off your Anti Virus email scanner and try. You will still be protected
with your resident AV
 
That didnt make any difference, but thanks for the effort. I got the
following error report:
"None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient."
