Outlook Express prompting for domain/username/password

I'm not sure if this is the right NG for OE questions but I didn't find one
just for OE.
My Exchange server has SMTP Authentication enabled so users can send e-mail
through it even if they're on the road with their laptops. The problem is
that OE asks for the username, password and the NT Domain every time a user
tries to send a message. The username and password are saved in the account
settings (for both POP3 and SMTP). Is there a way to get rid of the
username/password/domain dialog box?

TIA :)

It's not.

It's not typical that OE users employ Exchange servers for the message
store, although nothing prevents it.

The MS Knowledgebase may have some information on this. Check it out.

As far as OE is concerned it's just a SMTP/POP3 server. Why is it asking
for the NT domain credentials?
