outlook express password problem

Hi,
I have one client who has problem to receive email with his outlook
express . Outlook express keep pop up the password didn't match error
message .

We check from the server log , we found that the password he type
in was 6c03595872471541b213c47ff9637ef3 istead of normal clear text .

Is there any software will do this on the password typing ?

The client has diasble the AVG antivirus and re type the password
, but the problem still remain .
