Outlook Express Outgoing Email Address

M

Michael Elliott

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my note.

I have a user who used Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 for internet browsing
and Outlook Express for email. (Just in case, its also on Win98 SE)

When the user sends a message the "www" from the address is never
sent. Example: When I created the account I setup the email address
to be: (e-mail address removed). When a message is sent out, the
receiver sees the address as (e-mail address removed). I have tried
recreating the account as well with the same result. I have checked
verified that the Email Address and Reply to Address read
(e-mail address removed). I have also attempted to leave the Reply To
Address blank - same result.

The reason this may be an issue is we are using a digital certificate
for this user. One of the orginizations that have the signed message
says that they setup their receiving as www.ourdomain.com and they are
not able to read the message.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Email addresses do NOT contain "www".
