how can I choose which Exchange return address when I send?

esI have several SMTP address in my Exchange account. How can I choose one
other than the default when I send a message? My default address has
changed, but I need to send a reply to a service that demands the original
email address that I sent them. I can change the default email address in my
AD account, but I would rather do it at the message.

You don't mention what version of Outlook you are using, but if using
Outlook 2003/2007, add the POP3/IMAP account type to your settings. You can
set the pop3/imap server name to localhost and set the SMTP server to the
name of your Exchange server.

Now depending on how Exchange is configured, you might be able to send a
message via the POP3/IMAP account with your old SMTP address. This really
depends on whether or not your Exchange site is preserving the name/e-mail
address on items received thru the SMTP protocol for accounts it manages.
