Outlook express is not working in Excel or Word after office upgra

I recently did an online Office upgrade and now cannot send Mail or
attachments of files from Excel or Word. I get the error message "the file
Outllook1.pst cannot be found." I also get the message "MAPI failure. Login
failure" I use Outlook Express as my mail program and had never had any
problems with this previously. The Outlook Express program is working
perfectly for regular email.

It sounds like the Office update has set your default mail program to
Outlook as opposed to OE.

To change this, go to Internet Explorer. Tools>Options>Programs tab and
reset the email setting from Outlook back to OE
