Outlook express -importing .pst file

I clicked on File>Import>Messages..., selected Microsoft Outlook and when I
click OK it says "Messages cannot be imported from the MAPI client. An error
has occurred."
What can be done?

You can not import pst files to outlook express
If you need to see the emails of pst file , you have to extract emails
from pst and convert these emails to .eml format

If you need you can extact the email form the pst file ans save the
email to eml format that can be read from outlook express

Is Outlook installed on the machine that you're trying to import into?
If not, it can't be done.

Rubbish. Of course you can. You must have Outlook installed on the machine
to be able to do it however....

And just how do you do that? The only application that will read a pst file
is Outlook AFAIK......and Outlook 2003 certainly, does NOT save messages as
eml, it saves them as msg....
