Outlook Expess is hi-jacking my outgoing emails from my hotmail.com account.
Anyone have this experience or any tips to correct it?

Are you using Outlook with pop settings to read your Hotmail e-mails ?

Your description of your problem is a bit hard to grasp

I am not using OE. I am trying to send emails from hotmail.com and OE intercepts and sends back a 12007 error code.

I just want to jump in here for clarity. It sounds like you aren't using Outlook Express, you're using Hotmail through a web browser (like Internet Explorer) and when you try to send an email in Hotmail, you get an error message from Outlook Express?

12007 and 0x800CCC0D are very different things
You are correct Evan. I was able to recover the entire text that I received, and it is as follows:

********************************************************************************************************
The server could not be found. Account.Hotmail.Server
"http://ervices.msn.com/hotmail/httpmail.asp Protocall HTTPMAIL.SERVER RESPONSE"
Port 0,Secure(SSL) No. Socket error.12007.Error number 0x800CCC0O
*******************************************************************************************************

Hope you can make some sense out of this, because MSN will not respond to my messages.

You are correct, but I am using Firefox as a browser.

Try using Internet Explorer and see if you get the same problem.

That's OK, I had a problem with my printer and had to reload the program several times, to correct that problem and now my email problems have also been corrected.
Thanks to all the people for their suggestions.
