Yes, my Outlook Express has crashed. Nothing responds
and my curser won't move at all.
I know I have mail waiting but OE is unable to receive it
so I have to access it via my web-mail at the moment.
My Cable company have checked all my settings and
everything is perfect.
Internet Explorer works fine. In fact all my other
programmes are working with no trouble.
But, as soon as I go into OE I am faced with a frozen
screen and a curser that won't move so I have to close
down. Ctrl, Alt, Delete does nothing and shws OE is
running although it is not responing.
I have tried it many times over the last 3 days.
It all seem to happen after I exported the address book
to a Yahoo mail account although I can't think that that
wuld have created a problem.
I have scanned for a virus. I have Liveupdate. I have
SpyBotS&D and also Spyware Blaster and they show all
clear.I have run System Resore taking it back to a date
when all was in order but that doesn't do anything. It
remainsfrozen. Please help

I don't know what causes this (I suspect installation of other programs
or a flakey disk). Happens 2-3 times per year. I fix by un-installing
Outlook Express, then re-installing it. Do it by the control panal
application for installing/deinstalling applications (Windows Components).
