Windows Live Mail vs Outlook Express

After having changed from OE to Windows Live Mail strange things have started
on my computer. I'm running XP Home. Almost every page on Internet says there
is an error and I'm asked if I want to search for the error.
Other questions are:
1) How do I transfer all folders from OE to Windows Live Mail without
loosing any saved mail?
2) Should I remove OE from my computer after having saved all folders?

I'm very grateful for all assist from you pros as I'm a beginner myself.

3) When trying to connect there is a sign saying "connecting through WAM MINIPORT" but there is no connection.

You can't remove OE. Windows Live Mail is malware. Use Thunderbird.

I'm certain that many would consider the "Windows Live Mail is
malware" comment to be inappropriate. Yet, Mozilla's Thunderbird is
an excellent alternative.

When you wrote that "Almost every page on Internet says there is an
error" exactly which browser/version are you using?

So that others may be of far more help, please enter "Windows key", R,
winver and repeat what the second line reports.

I'll try that one.

I was using Internet Explorer v.8.0

If you press the Windows Key (next to ALt) and R, you will get the Run
command. You can also use Start/Run and then type in Winver and hit enter.
