Windows Live Mail using XP Home Edition, SP3

I have been unable to use Windows Live Mail with Windows HP Home Edition SP3.
I get an error message saying that Windows Live cannot locate its message
store, followed by an error message that msmail.dll can't be initialized and
that Windows Live Mail may not be installed properly. I have tried
re-installing Windows Live but get same results.

Is Windows Live Mail compatible with XP SP3?

I have another computer with XP Media Center Edition and Windows Live Mail
works great with it.

Yes. This is posted from an HP Pavilion 6745C running Windows XP Home
Edition with SP3 installed.

I have another computer with XP Media Center Edition and Windows Live Mail
works great with it.

I am not sure why that would make a difference. My other computer is an HP
Pavilion m7590n, running Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, also with SP3
installed, and Windows Live Mail works fine from that computer, as well.
