Hi.

When using Outlook Express with a wireless network card - via my son's
router - I'm able to RECEIVE mail, but not SEND any.

Can anybody please suggest what I'm doing wrong?

Incidentally, sending is no problem when I use the dial-up modem.

Regards,
Per Odegaard.

Are you using the same ISP as your sons broadband is from? If you have a
different ISP the broadband provider may not allow their email to be sent
through it's server. If that's the case receiving will work but sending
won't.

Thanks for the quick reply, Bud!
That may well be the cause - I'll check it out.
Anyway, as far as I remember, I WAS able to send via the network a week or
two ago, and now - returning from my travels - I find it changed.
