Outlook - Export Contacts as text or vcard files...

Hi,

How can I export my Outlook contacts as either:
1. vCards or
2. .vcf files or
3. a text file

I know how to export as .pst file but when I do the same command there is
not any of the above options. Anyone know how to do this?

My goal is to take my contacts on my Outlook files in my windows laptop and
sync them with my Entourage in my Mac so I have the same contacts, calender,
etc in both systems. Any clues?

Thanks!
Kathy

You can use the file | import/export wizard to export to a CSV
(comma-delimited text file) - does that help?

Note - you haven't provided your version of Outlook. That's nearly always
important in here - versions are very different.

I have Outlook 2003. when I do "file" "import/export files" then "export a
file" there are no options like you mention - I don't see any options that
say "CSV (comma-delimited text file). Can you elaborate on how to export to
such a file?

Thank you!

Export to a file....comma separated values(DOS or Windows) ....or tab
separated values (DOS or Windows).

See what you can import into Entourage.
