export contacts in Outlook 2007

I have Outlook 2007. When I try to export my contacts to a csv file there
are no files to select when the dialog box 'select file to export' opens. I
have both repaired Outlook from the 'Add/Remove programs' in Control Panel
and modified the program to add 'import/export' optionsl. What am I missing?

The path should be:
File->Import and Export->Export to a file->Next->Comma Separated Values
(Windows)->Next->Contacts->Next->select device to export to->Next->Finish

What area are you having a problem with?
