Outlook Exp after windows repair

After doing a repair install of XP home SP1, OE is slow to open and when I
check "receive all" to check the mail, it hangs and times out. All the mail
server settings are the same as before. Would the repair have messed up
something? What else can I check? Internet Explorer works fine, still
showing SP1.
